About the role

MedInsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to join our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build robust, scalable healthcare analytics and AI products. This role will help shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

The Technical Product Manager will serve as a bridge between platform engineering teams, application product teams, leadership, and clients to ensure stakeholders remain aligned on product vision, roadmap, priorities, and platform adoption goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with high attention to detail, technical fluency, and experience translating engineering needs and operational pain points into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and prioritized platform investments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert in platform-focused product management and effectively communicate impacts, priority, and the “so what” of platform investments to non-technical stakeholders
  • Define and manage the creation and iterative delivery of cloud-native shared platform capabilities throughout each stage of the MedInsight ecosystem
  • Partner with platform engineering teams to define product requirements for internal developer platforms, reusable services, deployment workflows, observability, reliability, security, and operational tooling
  • Identify developer and product team pain points, translate them into platform product opportunities, and prioritize work that improves engineering velocity, product team autonomy, system reliability, and cost-effective scale
  • Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics to evaluate whether platform capabilities are delivering measurable value to internal teams and clients
  • Understand and represent the voice of our internal users by gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and feedback
  • Represent our platform engineering team when assessing client and sales opportunity needs around authentication, data hosting and transfer, and other platform-related features and functionality
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, client support, sales, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on key initiatives
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps alongside our Product Strategy and Product Leadership teams
  • Prioritize core platform requirements in a way that business and application owners can easily understand

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
  • Familiarity with common analytics technologies (e.g., experience with Databricks, SQL, R, Python etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
  • Experience working with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, infrastructure services, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps workflows, observability, reliability, security, or other shared technical capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts, engineering trade-offs, and operational constraints into clear product requirements, roadmap priorities, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong product judgment in balancing long-term platform scalability, developer experience, compliance, operational reliability, and near-term delivery needs
  • Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and report conclusions
  • Strong understanding of how modern Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) platforms function, such as Pulumi and Terraform

Skills

Above all else, we are interested in people that are excited about building interesting products. Most members of our team wear numerous hats, so the ideal candidate is an innovative self-starter who is interested in working with our team and making measurable impact. The healthcare technology space is constantly evolving, so it is essential that candidates can learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
