Responsibilities

  • Own the vision and strategy for products on behalf of our clients, define the product roadmap, and deliver clear requirements that designers and engineers will use to bring your vision to life.
  • Conduct customer research, monitor and respond to feedback and metrics, and continuously drive improvements to the customer experience.
  • Drive day-to-day execution and delivery with re-prioritization and adjustments being made along the way to respond to an evolving business landscape.
  • Build and manage relationships, communicate effectively, and lead teams.
  • Identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems, deliver products/services in a high-growth environment.
  • Develop product roadmaps and functional requirements, launch new products/features, conduct customer research and/or facilitate user testing.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
  • Coordinate complex product development cycles and software development schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • No less than 4-6 years relevant experience in professional platform engineering experience or similar role in software development and system administration.
  • Strong technical background (preferably as a developer).

Qualifications

  • Equivalent professional experience as a product manager defining and delivering commercial-grade software products and services.
  • Significant customer-facing experience related to planning, requirements gathering, prioritizing, and scoping.
  • Experience delivering software platforms, products, and services targeted at highly technical audiences (i.e. software developers).
  • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to deliver products/services.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing product roadmaps and functional requirements, launching new products/features, conducting customer research and/or facilitating user testing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership.
  • Proficient in Agile delivery and development methodologies.
  • Experienced in application delivery processes and application development tools.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and testing practices.
  • Knowledgeable in system development lifecycle and technology integration.

  • Strong technical background (preferably as a developer).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to align with stakeholders on expectations.

  • Experience in managing change effectively.
  • Proven track record of leading teams successfully.

Benefits

Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $231,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,200 to $262,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $231,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,200 to $262,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
