Responsibilities

  • Own the vision and strategy for products on behalf of our clients
  • Define the product roadmap
  • Deliver clear requirements that designers and engineers will use to bring your vision to life
  • Conduct customer research
  • Monitor and respond to feedback and metrics
  • Drive day-to-day execution and delivery with re-prioritization and adjustments being made along the way
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
  • Manage complex product development cycles and software development schedules

Requirements

  • Equivalent professional experience as a product manager defining and delivering commercial-grade software products and services
  • Significant customer-facing experience related to planning, requirements gathering, prioritizing, and scoping
  • Experience delivering software platforms, products, and services targeted at highly technical audiences (i.e. software developers)
  • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to deliver products/services
  • Demonstrated skills in developing product roadmaps and functional requirements, launching new products/features, conducting customer research and/or facilitating user testing
  • Strong technical background (preferably as a developer)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • No less than 4-6 years relevant experience in professional platform engineering experience or similar role in software development and system administration
  • Success in delivering products/services in a high-growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to align with stakeholders on expectations
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to make recommendations and measure success
  • Knowledgeable in system development lifecycle and technology integration

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $231,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,200 to $262,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
