About the Role
As the Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF & DSP, you will own the strategy, roadmap, definition, and lifecycle management of RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering/design background and understands how RF and DSP theory translates into real-world hardware and FPGA implementations. You will use this technical foundation to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and guide products from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the overall product portfolio.
- Develop multi-year product roadmaps based on customer needs, technology trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.
- Translate complex system-level requirements and engineering tradeoffs into compelling product strategies and requirements.
- Develop business cases for new products and present recommendations to executive leadership.
- Lead product concept definition and support the NPI process from initial requirements through product launch.
- Evaluate competitive products, technologies, architectures, and relevant form factors.
- Manage product-line financial performance, including revenue, cost, profitability, and investment priorities.
- Partner closely with engineering to define product requirements, technical differentiation, and development priorities.
- Work with sales, customers, and partners to understand market requirements and identify new opportunities.
- Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during complex discussions.
- Develop technical presentations, product collateral, training materials, and other product communications.
- Support secure customer engagements where required.
