About the role

The role involves developing cutting-edge software solutions for geospatial data analysis and visualization. Key responsibilities include designing algorithms, integrating third-party libraries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize algorithms for geospatial data processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party libraries and tools
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features in the software suite
  • Perform unit testing and ensure code quality
  • Document code and contribute to project documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Python, C++, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) principles
  • Experience with data visualization tools like D3.js, Leaflet, or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)

Skills

  • Proficiency in geospatial data analysis and visualization
  • Experience with geospatial databases (PostGIS, GeoServer)
  • Experience with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, KML, Shapefile)
  • Experience with geospatial web services (WFS, WMS)
  • Experience with geospatial data modeling and spatial statistics

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
