About the role
We are seeking a Technical Product Lead to support Körber’s Material Handling Equipment (MHE) product portfolio. This role partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams to translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable specifications that drive predictable delivery and reuse.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain product requirements, features, and enhancements aligned to approved product strategy and standards.
- Gather, document, and prioritize customer, stakeholder, and program requirements into clear, actionable inputs for Engineering.
- Translate customer and business needs into functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and TDP inputs.
- Partner with Engineering and R&D teams to support execution, clarify intent, and resolve requirement-level questions during development.
- Collaborate with Sales and Solution Design to support pricing inputs, bids, and proposals, ensuring product requirements and configurations are clearly defined and feasible.
- Support lifecycle activities for assigned products, including sustaining engineering, enhancements, and controlled end-of-life transitions.
- Engage with customers, solution design, and operations teams to validate requirements, collect feedback, and confirm product performance.
- Affirm requirements alignment with established product architectures and standards.
- Support reuse and standardization efforts.
- Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and tools that support internal teams.
- Monitor delivery outcomes and product performance metrics; provide structured feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
Requirements
- Strong ability to gather, structure, and prioritize requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of the Technical Product Lead role and its accountability within a product development organization.
- Ability to translate customer and operational needs into precise, unambiguous requirements.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communicator who can work seamlessly across technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfort operating in execution-focused, cross-functional environments.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
- Ability to support decision-making through structured analysis and clear documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting requirements definition, backlog management, or execution in technical environments.
- 5 years of exposure to automation, material handling, industrial equipment, or capital projects preferred.
- Familiarity with lifecycle management and cross-functional product development processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20–25% for customer engagement, site visits, and internal coordination.
