About the role
This Technical Planner will work onsite daily, developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex Integrated Master Schedules using Microsoft Project and related planning tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze complex Integrated Master Schedules
- Evaluate critical paths, schedule health, schedule metrics, dependencies, constraints, and risks
- Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Mission Assurance to manage weapons program milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, baseline changes, and schedule performance
- Work with cross-functional program teams to collect status, update schedules, and drive program execution
- Communicate effectively with multiple levels of management and individual contributors
- Manage complex, resource-loaded schedules with cost and schedule integration
- Manage contractual or programmatic baseline changes through the Baseline Change Request process
- Conduct Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis
- Support engineering development, production, sustainment, systems integration, or Agile development programs
- Import, export, convert, or automate Microsoft Project data
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program planning, scheduling, project controls, or project management
- Strong experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or a comparable scheduling tool
- Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex Integrated Master Schedules
- Experience evaluating critical paths, schedule health, schedule metrics, dependencies, constraints, and risks
- Experience working with cross-functional program teams to collect status, update schedules, and drive program execution
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of management and individual contributors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Qualifications
- Aerospace or DoD program experience
- Experience supporting DoD IPMDAR or IPMR reporting requirements
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems, EVM, EAC, or LRE processes
- Experience managing complex, resource-loaded schedules with cost and schedule integration
- Experience managing contractual or programmatic baseline changes through the Baseline Change Request process
- Experience conducting Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis
- Experience using Milestones Professional, SSI Tools, Barbecana Full Monte, or SAP S/4HANA Dassian
- Knowledge of DoD 5000, the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, IEEE 1490-2011, or IEEE 15288

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $43.00 to $62.00 per hour.
