Technical Operator - All Shifts Available (TEMP TO HIRE)

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and materials for production
• Operate equipment in accordance with the OP Manual, in-putting materials, and monitoring defects/loss for continuous operation
• Cover self-inspection of the product and check the quality
• Maintain accurate records of production work in GMES (Global Manufacturing Execution System)
• Track all non-conformations and scraps
• Comply with health/safety/environmental/fire regulations
• Perform 5s audits, maintain production logs, quality checks and maintenance work logs
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Skills: Basic computer literacy, communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills, basic arithmetic ability, reading and writing skills, ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours - Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, nitrile gloves, ear protection, clean room suit. Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours - Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, Stoop, twist, bend, Reach overhead, Sit and/or stand, Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
