Responsibilities

- Test, validate, improve, and certify new processes and procedures for critical equipment operation for data center domain.
- Lead efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally, ensuring regional and global teams adhere to project/schedule guidelines and Google design standards.
- Monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and to ensure effective response to any excursions.
- Ensure sites follow facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while exhibiting strength in improvement to said policies and programs.
- Develop strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site, along with managing site-level development of programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), or controls experience in an industrial/commercial environment.
- 3 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance and in Engineering.
- Experience communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives.
- Ability to forecast resource requirements in a data-driven way.
Pay
US: $138000 - $201000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
