Job Description
As the Technical Leader for Generator Advanced Manufacturing Engineering you will:
- Lead/ Own new Factory process and product introduction, qualification and industrialization to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost requirements for Generators that will be produced in GEV Pensacola, FL
- Lead global NPIs, ToW and outsourcing projects, products and technology
- Own component implementation / qualification from design and manufacturability through stable production (industrialization)
- Serve as a Project Manager in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management at Gas Power Level
- Improve and standardize the way of working within the team through the application of Lean methodology
- Ensure the proper team is engaged in the Iterations from concept through final design with cross functional teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost
- Be responsible for on time and on budget delivery of strategic projects for both new units and services
- Serve as a technical process owner for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues at Gas Power Level
- Drive new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to Generator components.
- Manage and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of engineering/manufacturing/sourcing experience

- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge and experience in Generators
- Strong project management skills and detail-orientation
- Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
- Proficient in Microsoft products
