Technical Lead / Solution Architect
About the role
An opportunity is available for a Technical Lead / Solution Architect to guide the architecture, technical strategy, and implementation of a strategic enterprise platform. This platform is designed to centralize release impact analysis, test selection, and governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall technical architecture, design, and implementation strategy for the enterprise platform.
- Define the platform's application, integration, data, analytics, security, governance, and AI architecture patterns.
- Establish the canonical data model for releases, requirements, test cases, test executions, defects, and audit records.
- Design and govern integrations with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and other enterprise systems.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish implementation patterns, coding standards, and DevSecOps practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical decision-making sessions across multiple workstreams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and architects.
- Collaborate with product owners, technical program managers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with objectives.
- Drive platform scalability, operational readiness, resiliency, security, and maintainability.
- Support the creation of technical roadmaps, architecture artifacts, design documentation, and implementation plans.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to improve release certification, test automation, and analytics.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: Candidates must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role. This includes demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale platforms with multiple integrations and large data volumes.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems is necessary. Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps is also required. Additional skills include experience designing enterprise data models, implementing security controls like RBAC, and a strong understanding of observability and monitoring strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Test Management, or Release Management platforms.
- Experience in the financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience building AI-enabled solutions using Generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, or recommendation engines.
- Experience designing solutions for traceability, auditability, compliance, and governance.
- Familiarity with Oracle Banking platforms, Zafin, and enterprise testing ecosystems.
- Experience with test data management platforms such as GenRocket or similar solutions.
- Understanding of release certification, production readiness, and quality gates.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Prior experience as the lead architect for a strategic enterprise platform initiative.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 annually.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
