Technical Lead Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership with strong expertise in technical design and hands-on coding using Microservices, Java, SQL, and AWS (SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM policies) or Azure Cloud.
• Engage in production debugging, reviewing, and approving code changes.
• Build large-scale enterprise systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Lead a team of 4–5 developers, including task delegation and maintaining test quality.
• Resolve technical blockers and conflicts.
• Manage cross-team dependencies in large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Apply AI in coding and improve the SDLC using AI for coding automation, reverse engineering, test automation, debugging, and design generation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Java and Springboot.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microservices and AWS Cloud (preferred) or Azure.
• 3–5 years of team lead experience.
• Enthusiasm for using AI in coding and experience improving the SDLC with AI.

Qualifications

• AWS Certification (preferred).
• Experience developing AI-based solutions for business problems (preferred).
• Golang experience (preferred).

Pay

$130,000 per year

Schedule

This role is on-site in Houston, TX. You must be able to commute to the location with your own transportation to meet required working hours. Travel requirements: 0%.
