Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of BigCommerce solutions
- Provide technical guidance to development teams
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Participate in architecture discussions and solution design
Technical/Functional Skills
- Customize BigCommerce storefront using Stencil framework
- Develop custom themes, templates, and extensions
- Implement checkout and cart customizations
- Work with BigCommerce Storefront APIs
- Implement headless commerce architecture
- Integrate BigCommerce with frontend frameworks like: React, Next.js, Vue.js
- Integrate BigCommerce with enterprise systems such as: ERP (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce), PIM / DAM, Payment gateways, Shipping providers
- Optimize storefront performance
- Implement caching and CDN strategies
- Ensure high availability and scalability
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Manage deployment across Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Support cloud deployments on AWS or Azure
