Technical Intern (Software, Cybersecurity, AI) - Spring 2027

About the role

The Spring 2027 Rising Internship Program - Technical Track is a paid, 12-week experience where you'll work on meaningful projects alongside industry professionals in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Work on real projects alongside experienced professionals
• Receive 1-on-1 mentorship from tech professionals
• Earn a credential recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor
• Practice interview techniques and attend industry drop-ins
• Participate in career workshops and connect with peers

Requirements

• Age between 18 and 24
• Reside in Los Angeles or Los Angeles County
• Able to commit 10-15 hours per week, including mandatory live virtual sessions

Pay

This is a paid internship made possible through LA County's Youth@Work Program. Compensation is set at California's minimum wage and is not negotiable.

Schedule

• Live virtual sessions every Tuesday & Thursday, 4:00-6:30 PM
• In-person intern retreat (date TBD)
• In-person tech campus site visit (date TBD)
• Demonstration Day in person (May 2027)
