Technical Illustrator

Support product design documentation using AutoCAD, Inventor, or related applications. This role is located in Warroad, MN. Relocation assistance is available, including movement of household goods, temporary housing, and a dedicated relocation counselor.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D images for Installation, Service, and Supplemental instructions.
• Develop renderings for Architectural Detail Manuals, Parts Manuals, Product Catalogs, and Owner’s Manuals.
• Produce 2D drawings and illustrations using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist managers with department initiatives and independently complete smaller-scale projects with minimal oversight.
• Provide input and feedback on work process improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in drafting and design or a similar field preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Formal education or experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge or ability in Adobe products: Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro.
• Strong 3D and 2D CAD and modeling skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into relevant images or 3D models.
• Critical thinking and application of prior knowledge/experience.
• Ability to become proficient in additional Adobe products: Acrobat, FrameMaker, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
• Effective communication as a cross-functional project team member.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and department leadership.

Pay

$62,000 to $83,000 annually.
