Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Technical/Functional Expert (Network) to provide network communication services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide network support requiring system-level design, architecture, or enterprise security and security boundaries.
  • Work with datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
  • Physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
  • Support on-call requirements and work in a live call environment using remedy and/or other ticketing systems to track tasking.

Requirements

  • Experience with Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Experience with Virtualization products: VMWare and Solaris containers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • At least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. Two (2) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • 8570 IAT II level certification.
  • Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
