About the role

In this position, you will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, driving business process automation, and delivering seamless ITSM solutions to improve efficiency across various business functions. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of development projects and may be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
• Undertake regular code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards, providing coaching and mentoring on design and coding techniques to engineers in the scrum team.
• Assist with updates to program specification and implementation documentation.
• Provide consultation to product owners with recommendations to drive their requirements to success.
• Participate as part of a scrum team applying agile principles and tools including Jira.

Requirements

• 3+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow configurations (business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs), Flow Designer, and application development.
• Experience with integrations and API development (REST, JSON).
• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
• Conceptual architecture knowledge.
• Machine Learning or Generative AI knowledge is a plus.
