Technical Engineering Leader - Director

Job Summary

This role involves leading the design and implementation of a next-generation Payment and Cash Management platform, integrating AI across engineering practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring scale, resiliency, latency, and regulatory compliance in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic integration of AI in engineering practices
• Lead design reviews and mentor teams across Gen AI solutions, React (UX), and cloud-native microservices
• Guide critical code reviews to ensure end-to-end engineering excellence
• Maintain secure and reliable operations in a 24x7 environment
• Partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, Risk, and Operations to deliver client-grade experiences and bank-grade controls
• Ensure engineering practices are augmented by AI, leading to more efficient development, intelligent systems, and superior outcomes

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience
• Nice to have: Experience with financial products
• Nice to have: Working knowledge of the industry and competitors’ products and services
• Nice to have: Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business
• Nice to have: Demonstrated technical leadership, management, and development skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
