Technical Engineer - Cloud Engineer

This role is a strong advocate for cloud technology and engineering support, driving the organization's adoption of next-generation technologies. The incumbent works to adopt, expand, maintain, and optimize cloud usage through engineering support, automation, and staying current with new cloud offerings to produce expected corporate results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test, and implement technical solutions, as well as provide general production monitoring and support, meeting defined scope, target dates, and budgets with minimal or no defects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Monitor work against production schedules, provide progress updates, and report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership.
• Document technical processes and procedures, and participate in technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of architecture to ensure solution alignment with enterprise goals and standards.
• Perform technical analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across various departments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production support.
• 3 years of technical problem-solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration experience.
• 3 years of experience with basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with technology platforms, application development tools, business processes, and the software development life cycle.
• 5 years of experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs for optimizing short-term execution while planning for long-term technical capabilities.
• 5 years of experience working with a variety of technology systems, designing solutions, or developing technology solutions in healthcare.
• 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services.
• 5 years of experience with technical governance, quality, and technical security best practices.
• 5 years of experience translating requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs.
• 5 years of experience producing technical solutions that are fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Pay

Base pay range: $79,300.00 – $127,100.00. Pay is determined by a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, expected contributions, internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. Geographic differentials may apply for certain locations.
