Technical Director - Inkubator

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with artists to support show-specific workflow and technical needs
• Develop tailored workflows that align with creative demands using a mix of emerging and established tools
• Document and update onboarding materials for artists to aid in training
• Provide continuous feedback to engineering on internal infrastructure and integration tools
• Identify fine-tuning and data needs for model optimization on projects
• Monitor and address artist pain points during production reviews
• Evaluate and document the influence of new tools on workflows
• Advocate for technical standardization where beneficial across shows
• Oversee the reliability of production compute resources and resolve bottlenecks

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in technical direction for animation production
• Proficiency with both commercial and open-source generative and traditional CG tools
• Strong ability to adapt to rapidly changing software tool landscapes
• Experience in synthesizing creative requirements into workable technical workflows
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to artists and production teams
• Knowledge in developing rapid prototypes that meet production requirements
