Technical Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Director to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead technical delivery for a complex client account, serving as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and integration teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong judgment across solution validation, escalation management, and delivery execution in a multi-workstream environment. This position also requires close partnership with architects and delivery leaders to ensure technical decisions support KPIs, client trust, and long-term account growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong on-site presence with client integration teams
• Act as the key representative for the account to executive-level client leadership
• Validate and approve technical solutions before client presentation
• Address high-level technical escalations alongside principal architects
• Own end-to-end delivery execution for the account, including KPIs
• Direct the daily activities of the delivery organization
• Identify and pursue account expansion opportunities proactively

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology delivery experience in senior leadership roles
• Track record managing large-scale, multi-workstream engagements end to end
• Ability to build technical trust with executive-level clients
• Experience serving as the final authority on technical direction for an account
• Proficiency overseeing distributed delivery teams across regions
• Ability to balance dual accountability for technical and delivery outcomes
• Experience mentoring technical leaders

Pay

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually
