Responsibilities
- Uses latest tools/digital workflows to efficiently create and maintain BIM information and to interoperate with analysis, documentation, fabrication, and construction models
- Performs clash detection against reference models and works with internal team to track and resolve clashes and conflicts
- Works with project team (architects, contractors, engineers, designers, and modelers) to plan and document project-specific digital implementation, including analysis, design, documentation, fabrication, and construction models
- Audits models after key milestones, and periodically checks model content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to graphic and modeling standards
- Learns detailing conventions for commonly encountered conditions and project-specific details
- Works towards understanding of constructability issues, especially with atypical conditions
- Maintains budgetary objectives of project
Qualifications
- 0 - 3 previous years of experience in developing and applying advanced digital workflows in the AEC industry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural preferred
- Experience with BIM, parametric modeling, and interoperability required
- Experience with Tekla required
- Experience with Revit, Rhino and/or Grasshopper a plus
