About the role
You will work closely with Project Managers, Senior Designers, and Manufacturing teams to bring client concepts to reality through shop-ready drawings using SolidWorks. Each custom project provides a unique and exciting experience to create powerful branded environments for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Create shop-ready drawings using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop concepts into manufacturable CAD implementations
- Manage changing priorities and adjust work schedules while maintaining project deliverables and deadlines
- Apply spatial visualization and reverse engineering skills
- Solve problems and think critically to support project goals
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication across all organizational levels
- Remain hands-on to continually develop production-ready deliverables
- Work overtime as required to meet client demands
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven CAD proficiency with a portfolio demonstrating strong concept development to CAD implementation for manufacturing
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, Architecture, or Computer Aided Design preferred
- One to three years of design experience
- SolidWorks proficiency (required)
- Broad knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
