Technical Designer – Apparel

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of apparel technical packages, specifications, and product documentation.
• Review garment measurements, construction details, fit comments, and physical samples to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the development process.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to address technical design needs, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain key development timelines.
• Review and communicate fit and construction updates clearly and accurately.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date technical documentation throughout the sample and production process.
• Help identify and resolve technical issues to ensure garments meet established fit, construction, and quality standards.
• Provide hands-on support wherever needed to keep the development process on track during this short-term project.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in technical design within the apparel or fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, measurements, grading, and technical specifications.
• Hightly detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate updates effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Comfortable working independently, prioritizing multiple tasks, and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to step into a project with minimal ramp-up time.
