Technical Delivery Manager (TDM)

What You’ll Do

Versori is Manchester's first Y Combinator-backed company, founded to solve enterprise technology integration problems. We were acquired by Avalara in March 2026, expanding our reach. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will:

• Own end-to-end delivery of client integration projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high technical standard.
• Manage and coordinate software development and solutions engineering resources to deliver against agreed project plans.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with clients, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical delivery plans.
• Conduct client-facing demonstrations of Versori's integration platform, clearly articulating its capabilities and business value.
• Act as the first point of escalation for delivery blockers, resolving issues directly with Solutions Engineers and escalating complex cases to a Solution Architect where required.
• Track delivery progress against plan, reporting regularly to the COO, and providing clear updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage clients as key stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
• Line-manage a team of in-house Solutions Engineers, including workload planning and day-to-day support.

What You'll Need to be Successful

• Essential: At least 2 years' experience in technical delivery, project management, or a related role.
• A good understanding of software systems and integrations.
• The ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• A technical background, or demonstrable strong technical knowledge, is required.
• Desirable: Experience managing distributed or offshore teams, prior experience in an iPaaS, integration platform, or B2B SaaS environment.
