Technical Customer Success Specialist

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Customer Success Specialist to join a growing technology solutions and managed services organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them maximize the value of cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and IT solutions through proactive support, technical consultation, and relationship management. This is a contract opportunity requiring on-site work one day per week in Morrisville, NC.

About the role

The Technical Customer Success Specialist will act as the primary technical point of contact, building and maintaining customer relationships while driving adoption and value realization of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships as the primary technical point of contact.
• Conduct discovery sessions and provide technology recommendations aligned with customer goals.
• Lead onboarding, training, and adoption initiatives for products and services.
• Support Microsoft 365 deployments, cloud migrations, and security best-practice implementation.
• Assess customer environments and recommend cloud, networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
• Advise customers on cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customer success, technical support, solutions consulting, or managed services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with Active Directory, identity management, and authentication technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, wireless networking, infrastructure troubleshooting, and virtual machines.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, GCP, Cisco Meraki, PowerShell, Python, or API integrations.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000
