12-month contract with potential to extend. Hybrid role requiring onsite presence on Tuesday and Wednesday in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

About the role

Support standards publication activities to enable the development and implementation of safety standards. Contribute to the publishing support team in the development and publication of vital standards documents.

Responsibilities

• Proofread standard documents to ensure consistency with internal guidelines.
• Apply and adjust formatting, styles, headings, and layout elements in Microsoft Word and/or PDF documents.
• Review graphic charts, tables, and diagrams for proper formatting and accuracy.
• Assist in drafting announcements to communicate the publication of new or revised standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• High degree of accuracy in proofreading, data entry, and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and proactive approach to address issues effectively.
• Basic awareness of project management concepts, such as timelines and task dependencies.
• Positive and collaborative interpersonal skills to foster teamwork across departments.
