About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain geospatial software applications using ArcGIS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geospatial solutions
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users
  • Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
  • Experience with ArcGIS platform and Python programming language
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Experience with database management systems (DBMS)
  • Understanding of web mapping technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django)
  • Good understanding of geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, KML)
