Technical Consultant, Commercial

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually.

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Consultant, Commercial to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will serve as a trusted technical partner to customers and internal stakeholders, helping shape integration strategies and system design. The position is focused on translating complex technical requirements into scalable solutions that improve onboarding, implementation, and long-term customer success. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, guide architecture decisions, and strengthen support for finance and HR-related use cases.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams, guiding integration and system design
• Partner with customer teams to propose scalable solutions involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations
• Collaborate with onboarding specialists to support technical workstreams for customer success
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues and suggest product implementations
• Conduct technical discovery to recommend architecture based on customer needs
• Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS and accounting integrations, advocating for development priorities
• Contribute to documentation and tooling to enhance support for integration use cases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role in SaaS or fintech
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows
• Comfortable working with APIs and integration logic, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills for translating technical solutions into business value
• Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teamwork
• Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
