Responsibilities
- Providing technical assistance to child abuse prevention organizations statewide, including needs assessments, strategic planning, facilitation, and leadership coaching
- Serving as a resource for county teams in implementing Comprehensive Prevention Plans and building strong local networks
- Developing custom tools, reports, and social media content to share outcomes and resources statewide
- Facilitating communities of practice and onboarding new team members
- Building relationships with subject-matter experts and community-based organizations through conferences and events
- Staying current on emerging trends and supporting special projects and events as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Organizational/Community Development, Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or related field required
- Experience coaching and/or collaborating with local and statewide family strengthening organizations
- Knowledge of child abuse prevention, cross-sector collaboration, family strengthening, and the child welfare system
- Advanced knowledge of Trauma Informed Care, DEI, and Protective Factors
- Tribal community member with the ability to provide cultural insights and perspectives to guide partnership efforts with Tribal communities
- Knowledge of organizational development, collaboration/networking, trauma-informed practice, cultural proficiency, and community resilience strategies
- Knowledge of child abuse prevention, family strengthening, parent education, and child welfare services
- Knowledge of California Tribes including current priorities, needs, and historical context
Qualifications
- Required: Master's degree in Organizational/Community Development, Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or related field

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
