Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Developing software products and researching using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, JIRA, and MQ.
• Handling and driving daily meetings/calls with counterparts.
• Preparing defect logs and tracking defects to closure.
• Analyzing, organizing, and managing challenging tasks.
• Preparing reports for platform stability and visibility of issues.
• Providing audit and operational risk event support.
• Identifying and reporting issues through Jira.
• Remediating customer account issues due to missing or invalid data.
• Creating and updating documentation on relevant issues and for monitoring purpose.

Qualifications

• Broad technical/functional skills including COBOL, GoLang, backend DB2 and IMS, JCL tools like ISPW for code management, File-AID, CAFM, DFSORT, file processing with VSAM, scheduler Control-M.
• Experience in all phases of the development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to analysis, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Basic knowledge of mainframe automation.
• Proficiency in Excel-based VBA macro automation.

Pay

$120,000 - $130,000 per year
