About Our Client:The organization operates within the retail and consumer goods software industry, providing an AI-enabled product-concept-to-commercialization platform for retailers, brands, and manufacturers. It addresses challenges in product planning, design, development, sourcing, compliance, pricing, allocation, sales, and replenishment, helping clients streamline processes and improve efficiency in a dynamic market. About the Opportunity:The TECHNICAL ARCHITECT role focuses on leading the technical design and implementation of retail planning solutions for clients. This position ensures scalable, secure architectures and oversees integrations within the Retail Planning and Pricing team. The role is critical for guiding successful deployments and providing technical leadership throughout implementations. Responsibilities:Lead technical architecture design for retail planning implementations.Define integration strategies with ERP systems, data warehouses, and third-party applications.Create and review technical design and integration documentation.Advise customers on best practices for architecture and deployment.Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.Collaborate with product engineering, solution architects, and customers to resolve technical challenges.Support software installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance optimization.Promote technical standards, reusable frameworks, and implementation best practices.Contribute to solution sizing, technical discovery, and pre-sales activities.Improve delivery methodologies and technical standards continuously. Requirements:Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise software implementation or solution architecture.Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design.Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs and ETL.Experience with Microsoft Azure.Understanding of retail planning, merchandise planning, or supply chain systems.Excellent consulting and communication skills to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and mentoring. Additional Experience (Advantageous):Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Power BI experience. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120K – $160K per year.Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.This position may also be eligible for bonus.
