Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation.
• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform comparative analysis aligned with client's business requirements to determine optimal architectural solutions.
• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions.
• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to build and deployment automation strategy.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and rollout methods during build, deployment, and support phases.
• Analyze system performance based on implemented architectural solutions and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape.
• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions to enrich the team's knowledge repository.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

• Expert-level understanding of Java ecosystem and Spring Boot architecture.
• Comprehensive knowledge of React architecture patterns and frontend ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in designing cloud-native applications with emphasis on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Authoritative knowledge of microservices patterns, implementation, and governance.

Backend Technologies

• Experience with Core Java principles, performance optimization, and concurrency patterns.
• Knowledge of Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Data JPA and transaction management.

• Experience with template engines like Thymeleaf in enterprise contexts.
• Experience architecting solutions with Camunda BPMN for complex business processes.

Frontend Architecture

• Strategic approach to React component design, state management, and rendering optimization.
• Architectural patterns for NextJS implementations at enterprise scale.
• Performance optimization strategies for JavaScript applications.
• Governance approaches for UI component libraries (MUI, Bootstrap).
• Build system optimization and module federation approaches.

Data Architecture

• Database architecture across multiple paradigms (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Data modeling strategies for complex business domains.
• Master data management and data governance approaches.
• Schema design and evolution strategies.
• Performance optimization for high-transaction systems.

Integration & Enterprise Patterns

• Enterprise messaging architecture using RabbitMQ, Kafka, and AWS SQS.
• Event-driven architecture patterns and implementation strategies.
• Experience designing complex integration flows with Apache Camel.
• Notification architecture and delivery patterns (Sendgrid, AWS SNS).

Enterprise Architecture & Leadership

• Demonstrable experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise systems.
• History of providing architectural oversight across multiple teams and projects.
• Proven ability to establish and execute long-term technical strategies.

• Authentication and authorization architecture (JWT, Okta, OAuth).
• Multi-region and multi-environment deployment strategies for AWS services (EC2, ELB, S3, Lambda, EventBridge).
