About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Analyst - IntelliScript based in the United States. This is a fully remote technical role supporting sophisticated data-driven SaaS solutions for the insurance and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the Irix technology platform and develop a strong understanding of its underlying systems and functionality.
- Manage routine and ad-hoc client and clinical requests, translating configuration needs into appropriate technical solutions.
- Execute non-clinical adjustments to the Irix Rules Engine and support clinical adjustments when required.
- Create, identify, execute, and analyze test cases for proposed system and rules-engine changes.
- Conduct mortality, incidence-rate, and decision-simulation studies following rule modifications.
- Support user acceptance testing and contribute to the validation of system changes.
- Maintain highly accurate project documentation, specifications, task statuses, and configuration changes within project management systems.
- Review and validate colleagues’ work and results through established peer-review processes.
- Prepare and execute reports supporting evidence-based research initiatives.
- Deploy cloud-based systems to test environments and legacy on-premises systems to test and production environments.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders and provide guidance on system capabilities and configurations.
- Identify potential issues proactively, take ownership of resolutions, and keep projects progressing within established timelines.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with applicable requirements, including HIPAA-related data protection.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively and supporting colleagues beyond assigned responsibilities when needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and willingness to take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Ability to adapt to established processes, manage multiple priorities, and move projects forward within required timelines.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to understand configuration needs and explain technical concepts clearly.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced or proficient use of Excel.
- Experience with C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Familiarity with Databricks and AWS.
- Ability to effectively use generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support technical analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with applicable requirements, including HIPAA-related data protection.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively and supporting colleagues beyond assigned responsibilities when needed.

- Willingness to travel to the Brookfield, Wisconsin office as needed, as well as nationally for meetings, conferences, and team events.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in financial services, actuarial science, insurance underwriting, quality assurance, Agile/Scrum environments, or version control systems such as Git.
- An advanced degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
