About the role
As an Entry Level Technical Analyst at CGI, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to support the design, integration, and optimization of modern technology solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience with both traditional and AI-enabled tools, building strong foundations in analysis, automation, system integration, and collaborative problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of your client’s industry, organization, customers, and business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and teammates by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and clarifying business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business questions and needs into analytical approaches and solutions.
- Apply foundational technical concepts to support applications, systems, data, integrations, and other technology solutions based on project needs.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to help ensure solutions are reliable and meet business and technical requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and other project deliverables to support implementation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvement.
- Use modern and AI-enabled tools to support technical analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and solution development.
- Apply responsible AI practices by considering privacy, security, accuracy, transparency, and appropriate human oversight when using AI-enabled tools.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to communicate progress, share information, and support successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Certain positions may require U.S. Citizenship and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance based on client or government requirements.
- Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and complex information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Foundational understanding of technology concepts, including applications, systems, data integrations, and the software development lifecycle.
- Exposure to technical tools and technologies such as programming or scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, or JavaScript), databases, APIs/system integration, cloud technologies, and/or automation tools.
- Exposure to technology solutions through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects is preferred but not required.
- Interest in learning and responsibly using AI-enabled tools, automation, and modern technologies to support technical analysis and solution delivery.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is $58,000 - $105,300.
