Technical Aide

Position Summary

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

• Takes, processes, and examines x-ray images for diagnostic quality.
• Reads Radiologist’s interpretations.
• Preps and assists Radiologist in various fluoroscopy procedures.
• Instructs patients throughout procedures.
• Provides quality and compassionate patient care.
• Pre and post processes patient information in ARIS and PACS computer systems.
• Stocks supplies and aids in general maintenance of exam rooms and machines.
• Mentors and instructs students as needed.

Desired Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist in the area of general radiology.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
