Technical Aide
This is a temporary or on-call position providing technical support, which may include computer programming or operations, research support, medical patient care, technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication, or operation, or other technical support functions.
About the role
Professors Hatem Rouached and Federica Brandizzi invite applications from high school teachers interested in participating in the SURE-PLANT training program. This paid internship offers teachers the opportunity to engage in a faculty-guided research project and hands-on demonstrations for one month.
- Work 20 hours per week (four hours per day) for up to four weeks
- Receive a stipend of $2,500
- Flexible start and end dates to accommodate participants and Extension professionals, with most internships limited to 4 weeks between June and August 2026
Schedule
Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay
Stipend of $2,500 for the internship period.
