Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main point of contact for existing core accounts in a designated territory and identifies new targets for growth.
  • Conduct frequent planned visits, interacting on a recurrent basis with key customers.
  • Provides deep technical support, troubleshoots issues, and guides clients on product implementation, configuration, and best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for clients to gain more value, suggest upgrades, and align technology with business objectives.
  • Supports sales efforts by highlighting features, driving adoption, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Acts as a conduit for customer feedback, relaying insights to development teams to improve products.
  • Educates clients on effective product usage, often through dedicated training sessions.
  • Grows earnings per designated sales goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred area of study in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales, technical, lab, customer support, or inside sales experience.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience selling chemical or technical products, experience with distribution sales, experience with Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • Must be located in the Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and parts of Illinois region.
  • Requires up to 50% travel, both local and outside the local area, with some overnight travel.
  • Hybrid role, rotating between in-office and remote work environments.
  • Access to reliable internet is a requirement.
