Technical Account Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical partner to strategic customers, helping them realize value from a secure, compliance-focused platform. You will own escalations, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and coordinate across internal teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience. This position blends technical account management, customer advocacy, and operational follow-through to support adoption, retention, and long-term success. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for strategic customers, ensuring prompt issue resolution
• Maximize customer ROI while safeguarding data security and compliance
• Build and sustain relationships with key customer stakeholders, addressing all support needs
• Monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and create action plans for compliance
• Conduct regular customer updates through calls and meetings to ensure information flow
• Manage escalations and provide Root Cause Analysis for priority cases
• Advocate for customer needs internally by liaising with cross-functional teams for improvements
• Assist Sales and Customer Success in renewals and retention targets
• Drive platform adoption through onboarding, training, and support
• Ensure technical health of the platform through business reviews

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a related role required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust level security clearance for federal clients preferred
• Experience with SaaS Technical Account Management or a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with federal customer requirements preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of database technologies like SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL preferred
• Experience working in product management or development in software companies preferred

Pay

Compensation: $106,000 – $185,000 annually
