About the role
The Technical Account Manager will support customers across the USA and Canada, focusing on technical account management, customer enablement, and solution optimization. They will guide customers in setting up, using, and developing their engineering environments with Cadmatic software, contribute to presales activities, and participate in technical discovery for qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical contact for assigned customers.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement of Cadmatic solutions.
- Learn customer engineering workflows and advise on optimal configuration and use.
- Diagnose technical issues and coordinate resolution with Product, R&D, and Support.
- Participate in technical discovery for qualified opportunities and provide workflow-based technical insights to support solution positioning.
- Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations and support proof of concepts and hands-on evaluations.
- Contribute technical validation and qualification before proposals.
- Maintain clear technical account documentation while tracking account health, adoption levels, usage patterns, and issue logs.
- Proactively identify technical risks and recommend actions.
- Share structured customer feedback with internal teams to develop our services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Experience with CAD, CAE, PLM, or similar engineering software.
- Background in shipbuilding or marine engineering.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to customers and internal teams.
- Comfortable operating in customer-facing, matrix environments.
- Willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of Cadmatic products or familiarity with export control environments such as EAR or ITAR is considered an asset.

Pay
$95,000–$110,000 annual base salary with on-target earnings (OTE) of $123,500–$143,000.
