Technical Account Manager, Advanced Materials
Covering the West Coast territory, this fully remote role requires the candidate to be located in California. The position focuses on managing accounts using thermosets, with experience in resins (e.g., epoxy, polyurethanes) being essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage the sales cycle from manufacturing to delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
- Adopt and utilize tools in the company’s digitalization journey.
- Establish and maintain relationships to defend and preserve existing sales.
- Identify new market opportunities and gather competitive/market information.
- Ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
- Conduct frequent planned visits to key customers.
- Research and understand target markets and economic conditions at major accounts.
- Collaborate with sales support, supply chain, customer service, and other teams.
- Formulate, monitor, and improve selling plans aligned with business imperatives.
- Attend supplier trainings, IMCD meetings, and sales meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date customer interactions and pipeline management in Salesforce.com.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or General Sciences (preferred).
- Five years of sales experience in the chemical or related industry.
- Experience with thermosets.

Pay
$125,000 - $150,000 per year.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Travel required (~40%).
