Job Duties
- Provides Completion, Products & Services (CPS) job design, well support, and post job analysis to customers in the Gulf of America.
- Provides technical and operational expertise to external customers in a professional manner.
- Develops and maintains personal relationships with the technical customer base.
- Independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.
- Applies advanced techniques and modifies and extends theories, precepts, and practices of the field and related disciplines.
- Guides drafters/designers and engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
- Performs domestic and international travel 25% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principle Technical Professional related occupation.
- Experience with SolidWorks to perform assembly part modeling, assembly check layouts, and space-out calculations.
- Experience with safety valve failsafe calculations and Inflow Control Valve life of well calculations.
- Experience performing space-out calculations for completions equipment.
- Experience with Control line safety valves, Chemical Injection equipment, Feed through production packers, Permanent Downhole Pressure and Temperature Gauges and their carriers, Remotely Controlled Downhole Inflow Control Devices, Control Line spooling systems, and Data Acquisition and monitoring devices.
