The Role

Speechify is a company dedicated to making reading accessible to everyone through innovative text-to-speech technology. Our mission is to ensure that reading is not a barrier to learning. We currently serve over 50 million users worldwide, providing text-to-speech solutions across various platforms including iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome, and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Actively ship production code to the web products
• Work closely with your dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Have the opportunity to work on new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users
• Customer obsession - passionate about the field and driven to build high-quality products that meet customer needs
• Speed - able to generate ideas quickly and make informed decisions about what should ship now and what requires more time
• Focus - works efficiently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a remote team
• Tech Stack: Familiarity with Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, and TypeScript
