Tech Lead/Lead Developer - Agentic AI

Job Title: Tech Lead / Lead Developer - Agentic AI (LLM & Multi-Agent Systems) Location: Remote (Must work EST Hours) Duration: Long-Term Contract (2+ Years) Interview: 3 Virtual Rounds (2 Technical + 1 Leadership) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Lead Developer - Agentic AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will lead a team of 4-5 developers while actively contributing to architecture, coding, and implementation of production-grade AI solutions. The ideal candidate has real-world experience building and deploying Agentic AI and LLM-based applications, strong software engineering fundamentals, and expertise across the complete AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC). This is not a DevOps or Data Science role—we need a developer who has successfully implemented AI solutions in production. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of AI developers while remaining hands-on with development. Design, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM and multi-agent AI applications. Build scalable AI services using Python (FastAPI/Flask). Develop and integrate AI APIs, webhooks, and backend services. Design AI architectures and ensure high-quality, scalable implementations. Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to deliver AI-powered products. Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD. Optimize AI application performance, monitoring, and production deployments. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical leadership activities. Required Skills 10+ years of software development experience. Proven experience leading development teams. Strong hands-on expertise with Python, FastAPI, or Flask. Extensive experience implementing Agentic AI, LLMs, and Multi-Agent Systems. Experience designing and deploying production AI applications. Strong understanding of the complete AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC). Experience building AI APIs, integrations, and webhook-based services. Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for AI application integration. Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and production deployments. Familiarity with cloud-based AI application deployment and monitoring. Experience with Postman for API testing. Excellent communication and technical leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience building AI-driven business intelligence or recommendation platforms. Experience working with distributed Agile teams. Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong problem-solving and system design skills. What We're Looking For Genuine production-level Agentic AI implementation experience. Experience building AI applications without relying solely on AI coding assistants. Ability to lead a team while remaining an active individual contributor.
