Responsibilities
Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed facility with specialized departments including emergency services, maternity, children's medical center, cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology. It is accredited for chest pain with PCI and primary stroke centers, and has received awards from the American Heart Association.
The Valley Health System (VHS) operates six hospitals in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, focusing on patient care excellence through advanced technology, performance improvement, and educational programs. Employees participate in the UHS Service Excellence Program, which emphasizes treating guests professionally and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Approved Crisis Management Course required
- Certificate of completion of basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred
- Certified Phlebotomist preferred
- IV Certification preferred
