Tech Assistant - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Aid MRI and CT Technicians with patient flow
• Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exam
• Coordinate patient films and reports
• Stock supplies
• Participate in On-Site MRI Safety Training
• Aware of MR Safety screening questions
• Perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment

Requirements

• Able to work rotating Saturdays from 7:30am-10:00am or 7:30am-3:30pm (evening coverage when needed)
• Excellent communication skills
• Medical office experience a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus, but not required
• Enrollment in a formal Radiologic Tech or MRI Tech program is a real plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check
