Ensure compliance with Documentation Best Practices, maintaining accurate and thorough records. Record data manually on data collection forms and input data using a computer. Keep organized, accurate, and detailed records of tests performed.

Laboratory Best Practices

Adhere to Good Laboratory Best Practices and safety procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Handle chemicals and cleaners while following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Chemical Handling

• Ability to handle chemicals and cleaners while following all safety protocols and wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Use of lab coat, gloves, protective eyewear.
• Training on safe handling procedures and the use of PPE will be provided.

Protocol/Training Understanding

Understand and follow established protocols/training accurately. Recognize deviations from test methods/expected results and communicate any observations or anomalies found during testing promptly and clearly. Monitor test progress and keep requestors informed.

Communication and Collaboration

• Maintain effective communication with team members and adapt to changes in protocols or procedures as needed.

Additional Skills

• Identify need for escalation to supervisor and test owner.
