Teamcenter System Administrator/Support (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid position based at Collins Aerospace’s El Segundo, CA facility; candidates must be able to work Pacific Time Zone business hours and perform admin/support activities over weekends and after core hours.
About the role
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Teamcenter Systems Administrator and Support candidate with a strong record of meeting project deadlines and the ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams. The administrator will support EPEC Teamcenter 14.x and 2506—configuration, customization, upgrade, migration, site consolidation—and provide daily support to the Teamcenter user base, including end-user assistance, new deployments, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain all aspects of the Teamcenter production system.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to confirm system limitations, capabilities, performance standards, requirements, and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter and application issues in production; drive resolution for Teamcenter outages, including coordination with other support groups and recovery managers.
- Stand up new Teamcenter instances for enterprise usage; manage Teamcenter software releases, system upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot software-related problems with minimal downtime.
- Perform configuration management tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.
- Actively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Document system parameters and formats, as well as hardware and software systems compatibility.
- Clearly articulate needs and timelines to other IT staff to execute tasks efficiently and autonomously.
- Monitor performance of the Teamcenter application and SQL database; work with server operations and the database team to optimize solutions for minimizing application downtime and maximizing throughput.
- Administer Teamcenter Application Server components for 4-tier, 2-tier, and web-tier architectures with single sign-on, AWS, T4S integration, and multiple CAD integrations.
- Leverage excellent Teamcenter data model knowledge.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship (required).
- Typically requires a university degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours and perform admin/support activities over weekends and after core business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Teamcenter 14.x/2506 server and client-side system administration activities, including TEM Deployment, BMIDE, OTW, AWC, and other customization updates.
- Experience performing due diligence, impact analysis, and deployment of Teamcenter customization packages on various server components.
- Experience administering T4S integration, translation services, multisite, and custom interfaces.
- Experience administering Teamcenter services on Red Hat Linux and Windows platforms.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or comparable RDBMS and SQL.
- NX software and NX Manager knowledge.
- Knowledge of multi-site architecture and administration.
- Familiarity with Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference Manager, Query Builder, and change management.
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support for Teamcenter 14.x/2506.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $62,900 – $119,700 USD.
