Teamcenter Business AnalystFremont, California (Hybrid)12+ Months DescriptionAct as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams for PLM initiativesGather, analyze, and document business requirements related to engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processesTranslate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Teamcenter capabilitiesDrive workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and stakeholder discussions with distributed global teams Define and standardize engineering processes such asBOM (EBOM/MBOM alignment)Change management (ECR/ECO/ECN)Configuration and release processesCollaborate with architects to ensure solution alignment with business processes and PLM roadmapPrepare and maintain functional design documents (FDD), process flows, and use casesSupport BMIDE data modeling discussions by providing functional inputs (attributes, classifications, rules)Work with integration teams to define functional requirements for SAP, MES, CAD (NX), and other system integrationsParticipate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization in Agile delivery modelValidate delivered functionality through functional testing, UAT coordination, and sign-offsEnsure traceability of requirements from business needs to implemented solutionsIdentify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in current PLM processesSupport data migration activities by defining mapping, validation, and business rulesAssist in defining reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for engineering and operations teamsPrepare training materials, user guides, and support business adoption of Teamcenter solutionsCoordinate with support teams to ensure smooth transition to operationsEnsure compliance with standards, governance processes, and change management practicesProvide inputs for effort estimation, scope definition, and solution planning Must-Have SkillsStrong experience as a Business Analyst in Teamcenter / PLM implementationsDeep understanding of engineering processes (BOM, change management, product structure)Experience in writing user stories, BRDs/FDDs, and process documentationFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO/JIRA)Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teamsAbility to translate business requirements into functional and technical context
