Team Relations and EHS Specialist (2nd Shift)

Duties & Tasks

• Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits.
• Conduct Exit Interviews.
• Collect and analyze employee data.
• Create employee profiles using collected data.
• Organize and update employee files.
• Adequately adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
• Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses.
• Oversee employee orientation and training.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, squat, bend at the knees and waist, and walk.
• Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork.
• Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder.
• May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
• Required to work extended hours as needed.
• May be required to travel domestically and/or internationally if needed.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in each area.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist and/or EHS specialist or similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employee law.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant training and/or certifications as an Employee Relations Specialist or EHS Specialist.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant amount of experience otherwise.

Software Skills Required

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experienced with ADP and SAP (preferred).
• Demonstrated skills in database maintenance and record keeping.
• Strong understanding of HRIS systems.
